A Surprise
Marriage Proposal
in Sorrento
An intimate proposal by the Mediterranean, followed by a relaxed engagement session along the Sorrento Coast.
The beginning of their story
One question.
One unforgettable evening.
Some moments change everything in just a few seconds.
For Costantinos and Nicole, that moment happened beside the Mediterranean Sea at Marina Piccola in Sorrento. Surrounded by the warm light of the coast, Costantinos asked the question that would begin their next chapter together.
What followed was more than a proposal. It became a relaxed engagement session filled with genuine emotion, laughter and the unmistakable atmosphere of Southern Italy.

A proposal by the sea
Photographed as it truly happened
Marina Piccola offers one of Sorrento’s most distinctive settings: the harbour, the sea, historic buildings and views across the Bay of Naples. The proposal was photographed discreetly, allowing Nicole’s reaction and the emotion between them to unfold naturally.
After she said yes, we continued along the waterfront, moving from the beach to the terraces and architecture overlooking the sea. The result is a complete photographic story that brings together the excitement of the proposal, intimate portraits and a strong sense of place.

After the yes
From proposal to engagement portraits
The moments immediately after a proposal are often the most beautiful to photograph.
The surprise gives way to happiness, the tension disappears and every gesture becomes more spontaneous. Costantinos and Nicole walked along Marina Piccola while we created a mixture of editorial portraits, candid photographs and environmental images.
These photographs preserve not only what Sorrento looked like, but how that evening felt. For more inspiration, discover another engagement session in Sorrento.

Planning your Sorrento proposal
A beautiful surprise begins with thoughtful preparation.
Location
Marina Piccola, panoramic terraces and the historic centre each offer a different atmosphere, from intimate waterfront moments to unmistakable Sorrento views.
Light & timing
The right time balances privacy, natural light and the rhythm of the location. Sunset creates warmth, while an earlier session can feel quieter and more discreet.
The photographs
The proposal is documented naturally. Afterwards, the experience continues with relaxed portraits that feel elegant without becoming overly posed.

Frequently asked questions
Planning a proposal in Sorrento
Where can I propose in Sorrento?
Marina Piccola is ideal for a proposal close to the sea, while Sorrento’s panoramic terraces and historic streets offer elevated views and a more architectural atmosphere. The best choice depends on privacy, light and the experience you want to create.
Can you help plan the photography discreetly?
Yes. Before the proposal we coordinate the location, timing and photographer’s position so the moment can be documented naturally without revealing the surprise.
Can we have an engagement session afterwards?
Absolutely. Continuing with a short engagement session creates a fuller story and allows time for relaxed portraits around Marina Piccola, the centre of Sorrento or another nearby location.
