ALESSANDRO & MARIANGELA · POSITANO / ANGRI / VESUVIUS
From Positano to a wedding near Vesuvius
Alessandro and Mariangela’s wedding connects different places in Southern Italy: bridal preparations in Positano, a ceremony in Angri and a reception at Villa Vittoria in Boscotrecase, on the slopes of Vesuvius. Between the ceremony and reception, their wedding portraits were photographed at Villa Tiberiade in Torre Annunziata, beside the sea.
Alessandro’s preparations in Angri
Alessandro’s blue suit and the finishing touches to his waistcoat open this part of the story. The photographs make room for the people sharing these moments with him, before the ceremony in Angri.

Mariangela’s preparations in Positano
The sea is already part of the morning: Mariangela’s wedding dress hangs on a terrace overlooking the coast. Indoors, black and white portraits follow her preparations, before she steps into the light in her lace dress and veil.

The ceremony in Angri
The couple meet in the church in Angri. An embrace, a view towards the altar and a kiss trace the ceremony through different perspectives; the exit from the church brings everyone back into the daylight.

Wedding portraits at Villa Tiberiade
After the ceremony in Angri, the portraits continue at Villa Tiberiade in Torre Annunziata. The sea, the garden and the changing light give this sequence its setting. Wide photographs leave room for the landscape, while closer frames return to their hands, expressions and embraces.

A reception at Villa Vittoria
Following their portraits at Villa Tiberiade, Alessandro and Mariangela continued to Villa Vittoria in Boscotrecase, on the slopes of Vesuvius. Tambourines, laughter and dancing brought everyone together in the reception hall. The final photographs take us outside, where the couple shared a kiss beside their wedding cake as spark fountains lit up the night and reflected in the pool.
